After a few strong messages from the Universe, I decided to create a new life that allows me to help others and creates the flexibility to live the life I want. This podcast, Let’s get Mogavated, is designed to give you simple, actionable strategies to help you do the same.

If you’re ambitious and want to be empowered with tips, tricks, and solutions to create your Ideal Advantage in Business, Career, and Life, then you, my friend, are in the right place.

Let’s create order out of chaos to move you toward the success you deserve. Let’s get started!

SHOW

Let me ask you something, have you ever been in a situation, maybe a meeting, a decision point, a conversation where you stopped and asked: “What’s the ideal outcome?” “What does success look like?” Often, we go into something without knowing what we really want, but if you pause and think about what would be ideal, it will change your approach. It will allow you to be more strategic, more proactive, and less reactive in any situation.

For example, have you ever been in a meeting without an agenda or a clearly defined reason for the meeting?

I’ve been in plenty, and people just talk to talk, the minutes’ tick by, and typically you walk away feeling frustrated with the wasted time.

Get your weekly dose of inspiration.

How about this situation: a tough conversation with a child, a spouse, an employee a boss? I’ve had plenty of challenging discussions, and I used to be filled with angst and nervous butterflies until I thought about how the conversation should go to get the desired results.

When you begin with the end in mind and your definition for success, you improve your chances of getting what you want because you’ll be empowered with the strategies you need to achieve your end goal.

The ideal advantage is all about setting you up for success.

It’s about allowing you to define what you want, need, and the tactics you need to get there as efficiently as possible.

COVID 19 is creating historic circumstances, and many of us are in situations that have entirely rocked us to our core. But regardless of what you are experiencing, there is a way forward. It is never to late to make a decision, a choice to create a new beginning for the life you want.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, scared, uncertain, unprepared, but don’t let those feelings paralyze you; let them fuel your fire to create change. And I’d love to help you!

In the next several episodes, we will walk through the ideal advantage framework together. You’ll gain an understanding of the steps as well as a few ideas to action. Also, I’d like to invite you to join me on Facebook in the private group The Ideal Advantage, where there are more interactions and opportunities for engagement and Q & A.

Okay, let’s get started on the five steps to creating your Ideal Advantage in Business Career and Life.

Identify Your Current Reality

Understanding and owning your current reality sets high achievers apart from the competition because awareness breeds change. When you understand where you are and that the current reality is not serving you, it opens the opportunity for transformation. Clarity is the first step of clearing the path for a new foundation in the architecture and design of your future. Gaining clarity will lift the weight off your shoulders, clear your mind, and ignite your energy.

Define Your Ideal End State

I bet if I were to ask you right now, what do you really want? It would be way easier for you to quickly rattle off what you don’t want. It’s true; it’s so crazy when I work with my clients; they can give a list a mile long of what they don’t want, but it’s challenging for them to articulate what do want.

Without a path or blueprint, it’s difficult to know if your efforts truly align with your ideal end state. When you don’t have clearly defined goals and intentional focus, your reality remains the same.

Understanding your ideal end state and your definition for success will drive awareness and intentionality in each decision you make to design your new future.

When you understand what winning looks like, then you can reverse engineer your strategies for success.

Real vision inspires and creates energy for growth. One of my favorite quotes is by Lewis Carroll. If you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there. So knowing your desired end goal is essential.

Evaluate Your Gaps and Needs

Okay, so this next step is so important because we all have goals, but sometimes we don’t have all the tools and skills we need to get us to the finish line.

Understanding the gaps and needs in your skill set & resources is the first step towards knowing the specific actions needed to create change.

When you can identify what’s been keeping you from achieving success: you have the blueprint to help you create an action plan to learn or attain to help you realize your goals more efficiently.

Evaluation is the key to knowing what works, what doesn’t, and allows for the opportunity to pivot and optimize your success.

Architect and Action Your Plan for Success

When you have laser focus and awareness of your goal, you become intentional in your decision making. You move from reactive to proactive and become the master of how you invest your time and energy.

An action plan with goals that align with your core values allows you to gain control of your time and focus and improve your overall decision making.

When you have structure and organization for your thoughts and ideas, it makes them cohesive and easier to implement.

An action plan is your blueprint, the guiding resource for your vision, and the foundation for each step you’ll take to move closer to your ideal.

Level Up Your Success Strategies

Complacency is the enemy of progress. When your desire is transformation, consistency is the key to winning.

Some people believe that success is luck and truth be told some do seem to be touched by Midas and have resources at their disposal, but there are many more examples of high achievers building themselves from the ground up.

High achievers focus, they create action plans, and they use challenge and failure to learn. They believe in themselves and have confidence in their abilities.

When you have the right success strategies and attitude, you too will be unstoppable.

Unstoppable! Doesn’t that sound amazing?

Listen, if I can leave you with any parting wisdom today, I would tell you to BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

I love the famous quote by Henry Ford;

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.”

That quote emphasizes how much attitude determines our success or failure. Attitude is everything. Be positive, smile often, look for ways to help others and believe in yourself. Blessings will find would you friend, but it starts with you believing in you and taking the necessary steps to move forward positively towards your definition of ideal.
