The thread through my career
I learned the business by working across it.
I did not build my career inside a single lane. I began in accounting, where accuracy, discipline, and the economics of a decision mattered. From there, my responsibilities expanded into operations, sales effectiveness, business intelligence, technology, change, program management, facilities, and enterprise services.
Each move gave me a different view of the same truth: a decision that looks right from one function can create problems somewhere else. Strategy can be sound and still fail in execution. A visible performance issue can actually be a problem of structure, incentives, communication, ownership, or timing.
That is why I listen across perspectives before reaching for an answer. I look for the connection between the financial, operational, organizational, and human realities. Then I help leaders name what matters, make the necessary decisions, and establish the structure to carry those decisions forward.
The problem is rarely a lack of intelligence or effort. More often, the business has stopped moving together.
